The inception of Allowed health sciences professional in kmu occurred in  2012 when there was only one campus of Kmu called as institute of paramedical siciences Peshawar which is still there and at that time there was only MLT discipline.But now there are many institutes with many disciplines too 

Nowadays there is severe need of allied health siciences professional as well as nurses according to pro VC of khyber medical university that there must be five allied health sciences professionals with one doctor.
