trick to memorize ferrous (Fe+2) and ferric (Fe+3)

Hello guys today we are going to discus how can we memorize not only the Fe+2(ferrous) and Fe+3(ferric) but also all cations, for me this was the hardest thing to remember what we called the Fe+2 and Fe+3 but not now as now i have a mnemonic/trick through which we can remember ferrous and ferric ion.

For ferrous ion:
not for only ferrous ion but all cations with the lower charges will have "ous" at the end mean as a suffix
for example Fe+2 and Fe+3 so we will called Fe+2 as a ferrous ion.

For ferric ion:
conversely if the a cation has high charge then it will have the "ic" at the end mean in the suffix so for example Fe+2 and Fe+3, Pb+2 and pb+3. so the +3 will be called as ferric and and plumbic ions.

Happy learning😊
